Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends Ran: 1981 - 1983

Summary: Bobby's powers began to make themselves known when he was a baby leading to his parents deciding to cover them up. Growing up, with his half-sister, Aurora Danta aka Lightwave, Bobby's control over his powers was poor and he kept himself to himself at school in order to avoid discovery. However, during high school, he began to practice with his powers in earnest which allowed him to save the life of a woman trapped in a burning building. Soon after this event he was contacted by Professor Xavier and joined the X-Men. However, Bobby eventually left the team in favour of attending University. Whilst there he encountered Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and Angelica Jones aka Firestar, who he had a romantic interest in, both of whom he had met before, and the trio decided to form a team of superheroes. They continued to act as team throughout their time at Empire/Eastern State University. In addition to this, Bobby acted as a government agent, codenamed 'Windchill Factor Zero'.

X-Men: The Animated Series

X-Men: The Animated Series Ran: 1992 - 1997

Summary: One of the original X-Men, Bobby and Xavier never had a particularly easy relationship. This friction would ultimately result in Bobby, along with his girlfriend, Polaris, leaving the team in the hope of leading a 'normal' life. Although things went well for the pair initially, they soon began to disagree over the course their lives should lead. One day, Bobby returned to their home to find the building in ruins and Lorna missing. He tracked her to a government compound where he also encountered the X-Men, who forced him to return to their headquarters with them. With the help of Jubilee, Bobby escaped from the Institute and returned to the government compound to get Lorna. However, on his arrival he learned that Lorna was not actually being held against her will, as he had thought, but had actually decided to join X-Factor after falling in love with Havok, one of their members. Alone, Bobby made peace with Xavier but despite being asked to return to the team, he left the X-Men once again.

X-Men: Evolution

Summary: When his powers manifested, Bobby dealt with it by using them to play tricks on people. Eventually, Professor Xavier invited him to join his school for mutants where Bobby was the 'standby' X-Man for Spyke. When not acting in this capacity, he often acted as the unofficial leader to the other new students, often amusing them with his antics. An excellent student when he wanted to be, Bobby much more often chose not to take life very seriously. However, after proving that there was more to him than a clown on several occassion, Bobby began to take part in the X-Men's missions much more regularly, after Spyke's departure.

Summary: An example of how people manage to get around without cars, we flash to Iceman who enters his living room on an iceslide. His wife asks him where he was last night and Iceman tells her he played poker with a friend. Scowling, his wife points out the window and asks him to explain why his iceslide goes from their apartment through the front door of an establishment called 'ALL GAY XXX'. Caught out, Iceman responds "At least they know how to touch a man!" causing his wife to exit the room.

Wolverine and the X-Men

Summary: An original member of the X-Men, Bobby left the team after the destruction of the Institute and the disappearance of Professor Xavier. When Wolverine decided to reform the team, he and Beast asked Bobby to return. After what had happened, Bobby's parents refused to let him go but, as he was 18, the decision was not theirs and Bobby ultimately decided to rejoin the X-Men.

Characterised as the class clown, Bobby is an integral part of the food fight in the Danger Room, where he throws food at Colossus. Later, Bobby helps Iron Man to save the world from Trapster.
