Site Updates

16 December, 2009

I've just done another ginormous update of The L.J. Smith Cover Resource, adding 34 new covers, 5 better quality covers, 2 new ads and 3 new countries. And now I'm going to collapse in a heap.

23 September, 2009

My third Stargate: Atlantis fanlisting is now ready to be seen by you lovely people biggrin Solitary Man is the fanlisting for episode 5.19, Vegas. I've added a bunch of extras, as befits such a wonderful episode so go have a look and join if you're a fan!

05 September, 2009

I've never been particularly happy with my fanlisting for A Town Called Eureka so I've finally gotten my act together and given it a new layout. I've also added new codes and some of the best quotes from the first two seasons, so go check it out and join if you haven't already! You can find the shiny goodness at Archimedes in a Bathtub.

17 August, 2009

Remember how I talked about a possible slew of Stargate: Atlantis related fanlistings? Well, here's the second one. In Any Sense Of The Definition, Not A Couple! is the fanlisting for the hilarious episode 2.04, Duet. There are lots of codes and a bunch of extras, so hot foot it on over there and join!

13 August, 2009

I spent a huge portion of yesterday working on an epic update of The L.J. Smith Cover Resource with the result that 23 new covers have been added - 23! - as well as some better quality scans. In the process of the update, I discovered that an official Night World Fan Guide is due to be published in America in October, and that Italy are in the middle of printing The Secret Circle trilogy and the Night World series. Yay!
Today, I've concentrated on Mentally Unstable Like A Fox!, completely redoing Rodney's injury list. Season 1-3 are pretty much complete now, I think, and I've started Season 4 but there's still plenty to be added.

04 August, 2009

Much to my continuing surprise, Nicole has let me adopt the fanlisting for Dr. Rodney McKay from Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis. I've spent the past couple of days working on the fanlisting and some extras and it's now up for your viewing pleasure at Mentally Unstable Like A Fox! heart I've also been approved to run the fanlistings for two SGA episodes which I'm really excited about. These are good times, people wink

13 July, 2009

This fanlisting is seriously overdue (damn you, work!) but at last, it's ready! Family Don't End With Blood is the fanlisting for the relationship between Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester and Bobby Singer from Supernatural. The fanlisting is pretty extras free at the moment, which I will hopefully get around to changing, but until then, go look and join up.
In other news, it's quite possible that I'm going to apply for a bunch of Stargate: Atlantis fanlistings soon, so watch this space to see if I cave.

10 June, 2009

I love L.J. Smith, I really do, and I love The L.J. Smith Cover Resource, but jesus all these new covers are making my head spin! As you may have guessed from that, there's been another update. This time around we've got two ads for the books (one from NA, one from Portugal), one new cover (Portugal) and better quality scans of nine covers (from UK & Ireland, Italy, Poland and Russia respectively). I've also added a quick list of the publishing dates of upcoming books around the world left.

14 May, 2009

I've opened the fanlisting for the relationship between Alec Hardison and Eliot Spencer of Leverage fame. I love these guys and their snarky friendship makes me smile every time. If you're also a fan (and seriously, you should be), you can find the fanlisting at Punch Somebody!

08 May, 2009

The reprints keep rolling in, which means there's been another large update (26 new covers!) of The L.J. Smith Cover Resource. This time around we have a bajillion covers from Russia, better quality Polish scans and some new UK & Ireland covers. Fun times, people, fun times.
Elsewhere, after seeing X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I've added a bunch of movie codes to Past Sins, the Remy LeBeau aka Gambit fanlisting. Man, does that fanlisting need more codes. And more content...

28 April, 2009

I've just made quite a large update over at The L.J. Smith Cover Resource. Altogether, I've added 12 new covers, bringing the number of archived covers up to 142, 3 textless covers and 2 bigger covers. Plus, there are two new countries! For more details head over to the site and have a look.

22 April, 2009

My second recent wishlister approval has now been completed. So Far Past Normal is the fanlisting for the thoroughly enjoyable but sadly cancelled Generation X, a title which rocked my socks from 1994 to 2001. They may have killed half of the team, and screwed most of the other half over, but I'll never forget its glory days! If you're a fan, go have a look at the fanlisting and join up.

22 April, 2009

At last, the fanlisting for Bobby Drake aka Iceman is finished! I've spent ages making codes and adding extra content (mini fansites ftw!) so I hope you enjoy it upsidedown Check it out at Self Doubt & Recrimination, and join if you're a fan.

09 March, 2009

As is hopefully very clear there's a new layout here at InsanitySandwich.com! Featuring Sam & Dean Winchester and the inimitable Bobby Singer, I have to say I kind of love it.
I've also upgraded to Enthusiast 3.1.5, fixing a problem I'd been having with the display of the fanlistings I'd joined in the process, and I didn't freak out once as I did it.

06 March, 2009

As I've recently been approved for two wishlister fanlistings (what? I know!), several fanlistings have made their way off this domain.
First up is Legendary, the fanlisting for all X-Men comics, which has been adopted by Erika. Go have a look at the new site, it's fab!
In less happy news, the fanlistings for Quidditch Through The Ages, Martouf, [+] Bajorans and Nick Hornby have been closed after I failed to find new owners for them. I'm still trying to adopt a few fanlistings out so if you're interested, take a look at the list and e-mail me.

20 February, 2009

With the recent publication of the fifth volume of The Vampire Diaries series, it's high time my L.J. Smith-related sites received content updates and substantial makeovers. The first to get a shiny new layout and content is The LJ Smith Cover Resource which now archives a whopping 127 covers.

03 January, 2009

Happy New Year everyone! To celebrate, may I present to you What The Hell?!, the Supernatural 2.15: Tall Tales fanlisting. Thanks to the always charming, Erika for choosing me as the new owner!
